I'd like to thank Laurie Pzena for all the work she did on these covers, and everyone for all your feedback. In the end all your feedback was extremely helpful in coming up with something that was less hardboiled/thriller-like and more lighthearted. I definitely like this cover. It's not sexual. The legs splayed as they are kind of give a sense of a body, but also some klutziness so that there's a sense the mystery/story has a bit of lightness to it. The color is also eye-catching. Good choice and re-done! Good luck with the book.
Hmmm...my reaction to this cover is considerably different than other posters here and elsewhere.
But, that is just me. :)))
