You might be asking yourself who is Frederic Austin? Well, he’s the gent who wrote The Twelve Days of Christmas, which I shamelessly borrowed from for this holiday promotion, as I’m offering my collection Detectives and Spies for $0.99 for the next week.

And yes, Detectives and Spies has four J. Katz mysteries (two Julius Katz mysteries and two Julia Katz spy/mystery stories, but all four have Archie!), three Morris Brick crime stories, and two Mike Stone, PI in Hell hard-boiled detective stories. 7 of the 9 stories are reprints from either Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine, Alfred Hitchcock’s Mystery Magazine, or Black Cat Weekly, but it also has the original stories Julius Katz and The Ruined Roast and James & Bond (A Morris Brick story), both written for this collection.
