A Sparkling Review for Killer
RobAroundBooks offers a sparkling review for Killer, where he summarizes his review as follows:
In a Nutshell: Superbly written with a real twist in the tale, Killer is a novel which will appeal to lovers of crime fiction and the general readers alike. As a reader who usually ‘crosses the road’ to get away from crime fiction, Zeltserman has single-handedly convinced me that I should rethink my long-established custom of shying away from the genre.

That last part of the quote is a real compliment.
Paul, thanks, and yeah, I'm finding so far Small Crimes, Pariah, and Killer also appeal to more literary readers who aren't necessarily crime fiction readers. All good.
Very good indeed. That's a beaut of a review.
Corey, thanks. OF course, the review over at the fine Drowning Pool is a beaut also!
Well, I had some built-in bias. I expected to like the book. To win over a non-crime fic reviewer, and one who writes so elegantly, that's when you know for certain you have a winner on your hands.
Dave, it's nice to be able to communicate directly with the writer.
I picked up your book in London and read it on a trip to the States, intrigued by the Jim Thompson comparison on the cover of the UK edition.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book, reading it from cover to cover on the flight. I'll be seeking out your other books when I return.
First-person narratives are difficult to pull of convincingly, but you managed it. Thanks, Nigel
Nigel, thanks for the note. Very nice to hear from a UK reader, and I hope you enjoy my other ones.
Best,
Dave
What a great resource!
